My Story
Journalism is a passion of mine that started when I was young. I have always loved to inform people and tell stories. I am from a suburb of Chicago, Illinois: Morton Grove. I grew up in Morton Grove and graduated high school at Regina Dominican in Wilmette, Illinois. Regina Dominican is where I first learned that I had a passion for telling stories, writing, and communication. At Regina, I worked for the school newspaper, The Crown, and served as Editor-in-chief. I soon learned that not only did I enjoy writing, but I have a passion for media. I graduated from Indiana University where I studied journalism. I was a reporter at the Indiana University Student Television organization. In the summer of 2023, I interned at CW26's On the Block in Chicago. I also was a reporter/intern at WTIU/WFIU/Indiana Public Media in Bloomington. In addition, I was a part of IU Newsnet, a weekly newscast that reports on the IU and Bloomington Community. I continue to enhance multiple skills in a multifaceted media world.
